If you're unhandy with a soldering iron and don't want to risk damaging your console, I offer a professional installation service. I will take great care in servicing your 2CHIP SNES as you say “goodbye” to those blurring pixels and “hello” to pixels so sharp they'll cut your eyes! A complete system recap is mandatory with this service and is therefore included in the pricing.

Features and Info

First and foremost, this is not a “sharpening” filter. This kit not only dramatically reduces noise and improves color fidelity, but also recovers video content, eliminating the blurred video that the original chipset is most notorious for. The improvements to video are not only beneficial to RGB, but S-Video and Composite Video, too! The Edge-Enhancer yields visuals that are comparable to the sought after “1CHIP” SNES, greatly leveling the playing field and making the more affordable “2CHIP” SNES hardware much more attractive. Compatibility

The SNES Edge-Enhancer is compatible with ALL non-1CHIP SNES revisions, which are:

• SNS-CPU-GPM-01(2) NTSC U/J

• SNS-CPU-RGB-01(2) NTSC U/J

• SNS-CPU-APU-01 NTSC U/J

• SNSP-CPU-01(2) (PAL interposer required TBD)

How To Order

• You MUST test your SNES prior to shipping. Running the burn-in test found on the  “SNES Burn-In Test Cartridge” ROM is the best way of doing so.

• Shipping a failing or incompatible SNES will result in a $50 handling charge, plus shipping. I have to cover my time and if you don't check this, I'll have to.

• Add the service to your cart, selecting the options that you want. Select "Pay Later - Installation Service" at the payment screen during checkout.

• Once you checkout, your invoice will be submitted to me. When available, I will respond to you via E-Mail with shipping instructions.

• Pack your SNES carefully. Send only the console. No games or peripherals. The SNES MUST be fully working. 

• Please include any special return shipping requests, i.e. insurance, signature on delivery, etc.

• Write your order # on the shipping box. I must be able to identify your property once it arrives.

• Do NOT send with signature confirmation. My PO Box is secure and if I have to sign for your package, there's an additional $20 charge.

• Once the work is complete, I will adjust your invoice for the cost of return shipping and disperse tracking information to you via E-mail.

Turn-Around Time

I will not sacrifice the quality of my services for a break-neck turn-around time. All consoles are subjected to a 7-12 day turn around time, not including weekends. Most consoles will be finished within 5 business days of being received. If there's an issue with your console or an extenuating circumstance, I will communicate closely with you.

After Sales Support

The SNES is over 30 years old and  therefore I do not warranty the console hardware. However, I do warranty and guarantee my hardware and the service. If you need support, please submit a support ticket. Please understand that I am not responsible for supporting any issues that you have with cables, video processors, or displays. I'll try my best to help you, but I'm not liable.
